| In contrast to the futuristic mood of Mod Couture, Tribal Artisan is a print-driven story inspired by the geometric and Deco patterns from North Africa, with a particular nod to Egypt. A twenties influence comes into play here too, through dropped waistlines and the flapper dress. Details have a handcrafted feel, with fringing, mosaic embellishment and collaged fabric panelling. |
I also came across a repeat of a tribal trend. I think this could be a really good window display with animals and almost a landscape! The use of colour and lighting could be really dramatic, but as I have already started my design I will stick with the underwater theme!
